Date confirmed for bonfire night in Selby

News from Selby town Council
“Planning is well underway for this year’s event. Last year’s Selby Bonfire and Fireworks event was fabulous, and we can’t wait for this years!

This year’s event is to be held on Saturday 5 November on Scott Road Community Field.

The event is another FREE event for all the family provided by Selby Town Council, however, donations are gratefully received by the Charity collectors on the gate.

The gates open at 6.00pm, come along and enjoy the children’s fairground rides while you wait for the bonfire to be lit at 6.30pm by the Mayor of Selby, Cllr Wendy Nichols.

Enjoy burgers, hog roast, hot dogs, candy floss and doughnuts while you wait for the first of the 2 firework displays at 7pm and 7.45pm. Keep warm with a coffee and a hot chocolate while the children have fun on the rides and stalls.” STC Oct 22
